Fun fact: Empathy is a skill that can be strengthened and trained 💪🏼 Although research shows that humans have some innate ability to empathize, it doesn’t come naturally for everyone and can easily be smothered with time, culture, and lack of support.
Can you imagine what the world would look like if humans were better at empathizing with other living creatures?
Part of our mission at Curious Kids is to support children to strengthen empathy skills and a caring connection with nature. Watching a 4 year old care for an injured butterfly is what it’s all about!
